Saraswati Puja
“Saraswati Puja is traditionally observed on the fifth day of the Durga Puja festival, also known as Maha Panchami. Durga Puja is a multi-day Hindu festival dedicated to honoring the goddess Durga and commemorating her triumph over the buffalo demon Mahishasura.
On the fifth day of the Durga Puja festivities, it is customary to venerate Saraswati, the goddess associated with knowledge and wisdom. This day is commonly known as ‘Saraswati Puja’ or ‘Saraswati Visarjan.’ During this period, students, artists, and individuals seeking knowledge and blessings from Saraswati offer prayers, engage in rituals, and seek her divine guidance.”
